Gold began Deejaying at the age of 13, messing arround with old skool Hip Hop and breakes. He played a few times down the medicine bar in Birmingham before making the change over to UK Garage.

It was then he met up with local promoter who took him on as resident deejay. It was here Gold began his promotion work as he got on the road helping to orginise gigs in Birmingham city centre.

Gold's next jump was over to Drum & Bass, as he felt the once strong growth of the UK G scene had started to fizzle. He picked up on his love of D&B and moved. It was here that he decided to begin his own promotions team and came up with two nights that went down realy well.

Gravity started djing at the tender age of 14, "My uncle got me my first set up and i started from there really" he said " i was mixing down ukg @ the time but as i started growing slowy more knowledgable about djing i started mixing up breaks and d'n'b as i loved the sound and mixes you could pull off". Today dj gravity has starting to find his feet in the midlands scene but still has a long way to go before he achieves his aims and goals. "im on radio @ the mo so thats helping a lot". "I have just realeased a mix cd in a few record shops around Birmingham so im hoping that does really well".

What i strive to acheive through my production is something away from the mainstream commercialism that seems to have such a grip on drum and bass producers at the moment, we need to go deeper, darker, more twisted, there are loads of sick producers doing just this at the moment and i aim to join them.

As a dj i play it just as dark, using tunes from the likes of Unknown Error, Nosia, Chase and status and The upbeats aswell as some of my own production, choppy beats and nasty bass is what my sets are all about.

Ez massive first thing's first I LOVE JUNGLE DRUM AND BASS.I started mcin back in 1999 and it has just grew from there really.My mc style has changed a lot over the year's i couldnt really say what my style is really i never try to stick to one style if you know what i mean.I think a good mc should alway's be able to change style pattern and be ready to smash whatever tune the dj throw's at him ! (ha ha) at the minute i am workin hard tryin to promote myself in the best way i can cuz when we come we come correct ! watch out in 2007 gonna be a messy year for drum and bass just you wait and see !!!!!!! that is all for now peace & love to all .........

Tempo originally started writing and spitting from a young age, but back then it was mainly hip hop such as beastie boys, krs one etc. This is were he learnt about bars an how to how to write. At the age of 13 his friends all started to get into jungle and soon he was as hooked as they was with dirty basslines and amen loops.

This is where he heard his first tape pack with stevie hyper d. Instantly he was hooked, as most people where back then with the fast flows and chants. He began writing constantly and at the same time got together with his long term friends hidro and bcg and they used to sit in each others bedrooms day after day, night after night learning how to spit an mix. Any free time was dedicated to drum and bass. From the start it was all about originality and he still strives for this aim to this day. Time soon come for him to start getting his name about so he began attending local raves such as stealth, expressions and other smaller nights.

Tempo still couldnt find his break. Upon leaving school he couldnt decide what step to take in life so decided to join the royal air force and served 4 years as an engineer. During this time he still kept close contacts with his close friends back home (bcg,hidro etc), and still kept on writing and spitting as he knew deep down where his heart was, MUSIC! He could see the movements his close friend hidro was making an realised the move he had made was wrong. So he left the service and set his heart and mind in the music. His first goal was to get a weekly show on district 99.2 fm where hidro had already been makin moves. Local raves and radio where all that mattered now an before long he was getting bookings further a field such as konnections in leicester. Things where moving but not quick enough.

Tempo and hidro then started to look further afield an speakin with more an more people. Bookings began to come through with big name DJ's such as mikey Finn, Nicky Blackmarket etc, they began a regular slot on silk city fm in birmingham on the raveology show where they gained there residency at raveology. Since then things have gone from strength to strength with big nights approaching, and festivals behind them. Currently working on various hiphop projects and collaborating with various producers such as Sound Destructive, Kaotic, Juiceman (My Rebelious Sons) and many more.
